Most day tours from Tbilisi stop at Rabati Castle to explore its distinct architectural styles. The complex spans two main sections: a free lower zone and a ticketed upper historical citadel.
You must pay 20 GEL to enter the upper area. This ticketed zone houses a mosque, a church, and a madrasa. Be aware that drone flying requires prior permission near historical structures here.

This is the main ticketed historical area of the fortress. It features a prominent golden-domed mosque, a madrasa, and an Orthodox church side by side. Climb the stone watchtowers to get clear panoramic views of Akhaltsikhe.

This indoor museum displays ancient archaeological artifacts and medieval manuscripts. You will also find a collection of Ottoman weapons on display. Entry requires an additional or combined ticket fee of 15 GEL.
